In 2022, the export volume and export value of canned goods in China increased by 12% and 22% year-on-year, both reaching new highs in recent years. China has been the largest producer and exporter of canned goods for many years, accounting for about a quarter of the global production.

At this year's Canton Fair, there were nearly a thousand types of canned products. From a category perspective, the main products are canned fruits and vegetables, canned citrus, canned peaches, canned mushrooms, and so on. In addition, canned tomato sauce and canned bamboo shoots are also the main products exported from canned fruits and vegetables in China. The small Chinese canned food has leveraged the overseas market.
